We are thrilled to announce that Amazing.com launched our Global Support and Technology Development Centre in Dublin, Ireland! Our new office is located inside The Digital Hub, “a vibrant cluster of digital content and technology enterprises, located on a state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Dublin City.”
Take a look inside our new office:
On Wednesday November 4th, members of our team had the pleasure of attending a media event where Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD, Richard Bruton TD (Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation), and Martin Shanahan (CEO of IDA Ireland) announced the creation of 320 new jobs for Dublin by six North American companies including Amazing.com. Other companies included Squarespace, Asana, Pond5, Wave2Wave, and Primary Integration.
Amazing.com plans to create a total of 50 new Irish jobs in customer experience and product/technology development over the next three years.
Amazing.com Customer Experience Team members Lucy Ladchenko, Roisin Benson, and Baz Nugent attended the event along with our CFO Dr. Steven Siegel, and they couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Lucy had this to say about it:
Amazing.com started the magic and established itself at the Web Summit in Dublin with an interview with RTE Television. It carried on its magnetism to the IDA in Dublin City Hall where our company was announced and introduced to Ireland by the minister Enda Kenny. Legendary networking and history was made as Amazing.com started its journey in Ireland. It was very exciting! The hospitality, energy, and complimentary whiskey was nearly as good as Dr. Steven Siegel’s bow tie.
Roisin Benson said:
It was a wonderful evening at the historic Dublin City Hall with a great atmosphere. The hall was lit up green… and it was very cool to see such a historic location hosting Ireland’s newest tech startups. Steven was very impressive and those I spoke to were mightily impressed with his presence and very interested in Amazing.com. I felt very proud to be representing Amazing.com at this event!
“Launching our Global Support and Technology Development Centre in Ireland marks a significant milestone for Amazing.com,? said Matt Clark, our CEO and co-founder. ?With its fantastic track-record as a home for scaling companies, Ireland was the perfect location for us.”
“I am confident we can attract the best talent here to proceed in growing our international business. I am excited to see what this new chapter brings for Amazing.com.”
As are we. This global expansion means so much for the growth and success of our company. We are all looking forward to what the future will bring to Amazing.com.
