As the month of October approaches, all of us at Amazing.com are looking forward to one of the best holidays: Halloween. We’ve put together a fun little guide on how to dress up as your favorite entrepreneur!
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.” – Steve Jobs
Pay homage to the one and only Steve Jobs: co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple this Halloween. Grab your favorite pair of dad jeans, a black turtleneck, and a pair of sneaks. Bonus points if you walk around with an iPhone and an iPad.
“Follow your instincts. That’s where true wisdom manifests itself.” – Oprah Winfrey
Live your best life when you dress up like Oprah this October. She can usually be found in modern business casual with bold colors. Don a silky blouse, jewel-toned cardigan, and a bright belt. Don’t forget to tease your hair into her classic ‘do!
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walter Ellas Disney
Walt Disney needs no introduction. Wear a suit, a mustache, and a name tag. Comb your hair back. And be sure to carry around sketches of Mickey Mouse.
Bill Gates made being a nerd cool again. Grab yourself a pair of glasses (a must for this costume), khakis, a sweater, an oxford, and possibly a tie and you’ve successfully turned yourself into Bill Gates. Minus the billions of dollars.
“You don’t choose your passions. Your passions choose you.” – Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos is a favorite of ours. Amazon.com has provided a platform for so many of our students to start real successful businesses online. Want to look like Jeff? You’ll likely want to be bald or wear a bald cap for this one. Find your nicest blue suit and a button down. Carry around a Kindle all night. Bonus points if you find a way to wear an Amazon box.
We hope you enjoy our Halloween costumes for entrepreneurs and our favorite inspirational quotes from each, respectively. Let us know in the comments what you’re planning to be for Halloween, entrepreneur-style or not!
