If ignorance is bliss, then why aren't there more happy people?

I'm a human being. I consist of systems, that consist of organs, that consist of tissues, that consist of cells. You and I share the same organic structure. Mine works a bit differently though. Take my brain for instance, I decided at an early age to stop eating meat because of the constant torturing of animals. I decided to go vegan about 10 years ago and I wouldn't have it any other way. The way we kill animals is wrong and inhumane. It shocks the animal and sends a toxic mess throughout their body. You're heading out to your local grocery store to consume that toxic mess. I believe that when my time comes to end, eating meat is not going to play a positive impact on my conscience.

I'm sick of our government. I'm sick of this war. It's appalling to me that people can't have a say in who they marry. People need to stand up and speak out. Do it in a way that you're heard. I just wish that some people would stop and take a look at their own lives and then ask .....

Am I happy? If not, make changes. Change can be a good thing. :D

Okay. This is supposed to be about me so here I go.

I consider myself to be outspoken and quirky at times. I tend to go with the flow of life at such an ease that I have a difficult time with long-term goals. I love everything about the outdoors. I'm a saltaholic. I'm curious, cynical, and I procrastinate a lot. I'm an idealist. I absolutely love my familia. I always remember my dreams. Ask me. If I'm feeling a certain way on the inside, you will know. I don't like talking about myself so I'm going to end it here. Namaste.
