Most of this page is pretty ancient, but I suspect the articles on it will interest a few people. However, I now ave a David visits Windows Refund Day, where users of non-Windows operating systems go to try and find justice. [16 February 1999]

Want to buy a brand-name notebook computer without Windows? Here's how [18 January 1999; Slashdot]
One of the most unfortunate consequences of the
Windows® victory is that other systems must be bastardized to
conform to the Windows horror. The Anti-HTM protest page is but
one example of an anti-MS revolution that's sweeping the nation.David's pages are all proudly created on Linux, Macintosh and Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, which have never used the .htm extension and never will. My personal opinion, however, is that there is no reason to spread the word. The .htm extension is a pretty good indication that the web page you're about to see is mediocre and not worth reading. To spread the word merely makes it possible for mediocre web page creators to look like us. Do we want to reveal these secrets to them? Really. Drop me a line with comments on this vital revolution. |
One note that might be of interest to you: This page, unlike most anti-Microsoft pages, is 100% original material. In other words, I wrote it all, except for the pages I link to at the bottom.
In other words, you'll find stuff here you can't find anywhere else.

Team Gates has a truly remarkable page. Are they really pro Microsoft, or are they playing an incredibly deep game? They are certainly the first advocacy site I've seen with a loyalty oath! Oddly enough, their system is proudly running on a Sun SPARC 20 server, which seems to negate the whole idea. So is it truth or is it Microsoft? You be the judge. [1 September 1996].
Stop Gates is a really neat T-shirt that no dedicated Microsoft foe should be without!
