In small communuties like I live in sometimes the hospitals pays for doctors from other hospitals to come in.After my boy was in a acccident and the doctor was checkin' him out his dad started having chest pains (he has a history of heart disease).The doctor told me to stay with one while he stayed with the other.I was thinking,wheres the nurses,I'm not employed here.In the meantime,I got a call from the hospital on my cell phone,which you don't suppose to have in the hospial and it was from the hospital itself stating I need to get home because my daughter just passed out.My daughter was also in the accident.I ended up having to find a nurse that actually worked at the hospital to take over.Can You guess what I did? I was working when I got the call that three of my kids was in a roll over accident.I left work and still had my scrubs on.The doctor must of thought I worked for the hospital.Thats a scary thought thinking anybody can where scrubs in these small hospitals and put to work.
