There is an election in this area on May 15th, and a lot of colorful election posters are peppering our sidewalks.

Apparently there are a lot of people - I count at least five, and I think there are more - who want to become Registerer of Wills.

That sounds like a pretty dull job. I'm thinking about a musty office with ugly metal file cabinets, stuffed with boring documents, with boring people there to help.

Why would someone work hard and spend what seems like genuine money for this dubious honor?
