You can add a FlashBox to your community or blog by simply going to your community, clicking on "Pick Boxes" and dragging the "Flashbox" box to the proper spot on your page.

Then click save and your flashbox will be there!

Active FlashBoxes - those with people in the communities they serve - are displayed on the left of the online page.

FlashBoxes are best used for communities which many people may visit at a time; they might not be as well suited to your blog, unless you expect a huge audience!

Note that you can also send instant messages through the profiles of people you're interested in. Click on "online" to see who's there, click on their profiles, and type your message into the Flash Message box.
