Brangelina

LAS VEGAS -- The wedding's been called off. No, not the TomKat wedding -- the Brangelina wedding.
A plan to stage a fantasy wedding between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt proved a little too hot to handle for a wax museum on the Las Vegas Strip.
The wedding was not going to be with the real Pitt and Jolie, but with wax figures of them at Madame Tussaud's. Because a representative for Pitt said the idea of a wax wedding that would recreate a wedding that never happened is "disturbing," Tussaud's is not going through with it.
The museum general manager said the decision was made in the interest of keeping good celebrity relationships.
The Brangelina "wedding" had been scheduled Wednesday to mark the unveiling of a Jolie figure at the museum at The Venetian resort. The museum has already had a wax figure of Pitt.
With the two of them together, Tussaud's was going to set a wedding scene. A wax figure of George Clooney would be best man, and the wax figure of Rev. Robert Schuller, of the Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, Calif., would look like he's officiating.
Pitt and Jolie were in Mumbai, India, where she's filming a movie. Pitt wasn't personally aware of the Madame Tussauds plan.
He told Esquire magazine for its October edition that he doesn't intend to marry Jolie until everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.
