The mystery of 111 and other triple numbers.

When I awoke this morning, I just happened to look at the clock and notice that the time was 1:11. This wasn't the first time this has happened to me. I've been noticing these triple numbers daily on a regular basis. What does this mean?
Since my break up with my ex-boyfriend (the age of 20), I've been seeing tripple numbers, 111 mostly. At first, I didn't know what to expect from it. To be honest, I started getting worried and scared but at the same time there was something really exciting about it.
"Something is trying to tell me something", I numerously kept repeating to myself. Everybody I told just looked at me as if I were crazy. Then again, since they weren't experiencing it, they didn't know just how weird it really was... and still is.
Even to this day I see them on everything from digital clocks (waking up in the middle of the night and happen to see 111 staring me in the face) to passing taxis (as if something telapathically pulls my eyes towards the number on the car) to even an address on a building.
Since my ex and I broke up, I've developed rapidly into a world of spiritualality. I've learned and still am learning much about my inner-self and the beauty that surrounds life itself. Is this what the numbers mean?
I've done some research on this only to find that I'm not alone. There are actually a couple of websites dedicated to people who see triple numbers. One of these websites talks about the numbers meaning that I have a guardian angel following me, letting me know that I'm on the right path.
Another site told me that these numbers all have a specific meaning to help guide me (but with no angel involved). Since all numbers have a meaning in the mathmatic world that we live in, that when these numbers are together like they are, something big is happening.
Example: When the numbers 111 are together, there is a meaning specifically for that pair of numbers. Same for 222, 333, 444, etc...
Now this site also tells me that I should stop what I am doing when I see a triple number, to observe my surroundings and to think about where I'm trying to go and what I'm trying to do. It also states that I should really stop and think exactly what it is that I'm thinking about at that particular moment and to basically ask myself deeper questions.
Now I've done all of these things only to find myself very confused. I believe that when seeing numbers together like this all the time, we are meant to find the answer ourselves the best way that we can. Meaning that the numbers could have there own specific meaning for each and every one of us and still be whole and true to the genre from which it comes (spirituality, Christianity, Jewish, Buddist, etc...).
Over all, I notice that when I see these combined numbers, that I am usually in deep thought, happy, energized, feeling enlightened or in a creative state of mind.
Maybe it all has something to do with the cosmos? Maybe it has something to do with spiritualality on a deeper scale? I will of course continue on this awsome phanomanon until I receive an answer that satisfies me.
Haha, well I actually did try playing the lottery several times but no luck :(
It's been a great mystery for quite some time.
Thing is, this great mystery is such a new thing that no scientist has done enough research on it. It seems as if the people seeing these numbers, besides me, are doing their own research on it trying to figure out WTF is going on!

The problem with this idea is that by definition you can't play 1 1 1 on the lottery since you need distinct numbers!
